Our purpose
We provide one organized home for Hausa novels and related literary works, with tools that help readers discover books, continue reading, build personal libraries and follow the writers and publishers they enjoy.
For readers
Readers can browse the catalogue, discover books by category and popularity, use the secure reader, save books and access downloads where the publisher's chosen access rules permit them.
For writers and publishers
Publishers can manage their identity, submit books, maintain their catalogue and control how their works are offered. Copyright ownership, publisher identity and uploader identity are treated as separate responsibilities.
Technology with human responsibility
Soyayya may use automation and AI-assisted tools to help prepare metadata, summaries, discovery information and covers. These tools support the publishing workflow; they do not replace the responsibility to publish accurate information or to hold the necessary rights to a work.
Our commitment
We aim to keep the platform useful, secure, respectful of creators, easy to use on mobile and desktop, and sustainable for the long-term growth of Hausa literature online.
